Technically they kind of are the same movie, the 2004 version of Dawn of the Dead is the remake of this one. BP is a fictional Company (Its not real) They just reused that name, just like they reused the name "Crossroads" for the mall (Although that was not the name of the real mall were the movie was filmed)
