Depends on the trim. It'd have to be a base as the Pioneer had chromed bumpers ("bright" in Jeep speak) which were replaced by metallic purple grey the next year. I just wanted to search the 90 brochure and discovered this ![]() https://www.ebay.ca/itm/204006699921 |

![]() with the top up it looks like a 4x4 Volks Cabrio... ( no idea why this one is an European model.. ) can't be newer than 1993 by lack of CHMSL -- Last edit: 2024-08-27 08:14:40 |

Does the 1994 model have the Sport word emblem on the side? There's none on it. |
◊ 2024-11-14 01:14 |
should have /vehicle_86604-Jeep-Cherokee-XJ-1994.html now , no matter what happened to the Sport badge/decal , it was also the only one available with a red trim inside the molding , which this one has -- Last edit: 2024-11-14 01:15:02 |

even the 4x4 decal is gone (could be painted over) but still no matter anyways... anyhow, with this steering wheel seen in this shot I cropped, it's an 1994 only... ![]() -- Last edit: 2024-11-14 01:20:24 |

How do you know the steering wheel is for the 1994 models only? |
◊ 2024-11-14 18:25 |
Because from 1995 they began using the airbag steering wheel (except EU versions I think, which also didn't get the CHMSL) Since it's got the CHMSL which came in 1994 that's all it can be. |
