1947+ grill design I think. These were produced starting in 1946 but only the smaller version was available for that year. (Except for one 1946 model in Australia that has the tall hood, but I'm certain that the hood came from another truck or the year is wrong.) Drive config isn't visible so the actual model can't be determined. The 900-Series also appear to have different grills? I still don't know what the difference is between the early 500 and 900 series trucks. 1947+ Kenworth 500-Series |
