Caterham nomenclature is as simple as herding cats. Could head to the dumping ground whilst we figure out a name: /vehicles.php?make=Caterham&model=Super+Seven&modelMatch=1&modelInclModel=on but it's probably something like a Roadsport 125. |

SJ57GHG might be a Caterham press car and a CSR 175 according to picture on Caterham's Colombian (!!!) site. But same photo on this Japan site seems to be a Roadsport SV. I think I'll go and round up the cats ... |

Maybe just call it a 7 like it says on the front?? |

Definitely not a CSR. Wrong engine size and dashboard. |

Hello, This is my car now! It's a RoadSport 150 SV - the one that came with Independent Throttle Bodies (ITBs) from stock. I am very curious about the history of the car, because the service book states it was built from a kit, which would be unusual for a press car. |

IPv4Exhaustion - have entered you as owner. Can't really tell you much about the history, but this page might give you some clues to follow up - eg it's had 4 registered owners, 3 plate changes from to SJ57GHG in March 2008; to F7RJL in November 2008; and back to SJ57GHG in July 2011. Seems no colour changes, so always been blue. We've identified this vehicle using the details you provided MITSUBISHI L200 BARBARIAN DCB DI-D AUTO 2016 Registration number: R50JGR Body type: Pick-Up Colour: White Date of first registration: September 2016 Nothing found now for F7RJL Long shot speculation - possibly originally built privately as a kit with the owner registering it as R50JGR on a personal plate, and for some reason sold to Caterham who re-registered as SJ57GHG and adopted it as their press/demo car. Owner/first builder kept his personal plate which eventually landed on the white Mitsubishi pick-up. Then Caterham sold SJ57GHG on to another owner who installed F7JRL, kept it for 2.5 years and sold it on, but keeping his pet plate, so it reverted to SJ57GHG and eventually made its way to you. No idea if any of that makes sense or is absolute twaddle, but it's a good story ...... |
