night cub ◊ 2017-06-21 23:59	I'm guessing this was supposed to be a French Connection clone but with a female lead. Stars Connie Stevens as a narcotics officer and Cesare Danova as the crime lord. Needs a remaster, but still has some wonky cinematography choices (Photography 101: Don't shoot into the sun). Set and filmed in Seattle. One big chase scene starts with the suspect jumping on the monorail, Connie chases in a Ford taxi, he gets off and steals a Pontiac, and she steals a track racer, he crashes the Pontiac into an Oldsmobile, steals a motorcycle, she continues to chase him in the racecar, up and down staircases, across a field until he jumps off a pier. The end of the movie, suspects get away in a speed boat, Connie jumps in a helicopter, and flies away in a spectacular chase, like she's done it all her life. So suspend some belief.
