4-part missing child/cold case police series based on a Japanese novel, but relocated to Scotland. Filmed in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Wanlockhead and other locations in Central Belt, and London.

Strangely enough - Focus definite yes, Skoda probable yes (one likely sighting so far but obstructed view).

tbf, Scotland might only only have a few prop car companies which why the same ones turn again, maybe they might be new ones and some newer models that we saw Anika and Crime maybe

Nearly a very good series. Some intriguing plotlines, a good cast who give good performances, some excellent dramatic moments, lots of interesting visual locations used to good effect, and a quirky soundtrack of 60s/70s Scottish rock music (Frankie Miller, Donovan etc) although the official soundtrack album ditches those tracks and only contains theme music.

The problem is that there's too many plotlines crammed in, so none of them can really breathe properly. Which is a pity as individually they're all fairly strong and deserve greater room to develop instead of constantly competing with each other.

Some impossible pick'n'mixes of M74 in Lanarkshire and the Kingston Bridge in Glasgow

I'm guessing it's a Scottish version of a duology that I worked on a while ago: /movies.php?title=rokuyon

I'm not sure what "Six Four" would mean in a Scottish context, considering that in the original Japanese novel/movie/etc. the murder happened on Jan. 1989, which was the 64th year of the Showa era for a week before Emperor Showa passed away, hence the title.

Yes - that looks like the source. Six Four becomes the code name of a secret informer who the spooks are trying to protect, but it's a bit muddled, and no explanation why that name used.

Six Four also refers to the 1964 Chevrolet Impala in certain "urban" environments, often referring to one that has been turned into a lowrider. Eazy-E famously drove a metallic minty green 2-door which still exists!
