Hidden gem of B-movies. Featuring pre-Matrix Carrie Ann Moss and pre-Matrix "bullet in slow motion" special effects. |

I once saw this on Channel 5 years ago (hard to remember anything about it though). Mark Dacascos has done a lot of this kind of low-budget film. |

Well, despite low budget, this one wasn't bad at all. Altough when I was going to rewatch it, I was seriously afraid that now I'll say "holy shit, that's a crap!" )) |

I had it on VHS. It's from big wave of nonpirate B-movies 96-97 in Russia. It has few interesting moments and characters, but rhytm of whole piture i find frustrating and slow. Thank's for posting, Nightrider! |

Personally I tend to agree with this review. http://www.badmovieplanet.com/unknownmovies/reviews/rev71.html Talking about mid-90s B-movies wave, there was one example, awesome in its incredible awfulness. This one: www.imdb.com/title/tt0160996/ B-category is far too high for this movie. It should be C or even D-movie...too bad, I don't know where you can find it now. Even YouTube offers only one sequence from it (uploaded for obivous reasons) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mQ9vky8q90 -- Last edit: 2011-07-02 08:52:58 |

Oh yes. There was an ice resufarcer. Well, I forgot to make capture or I did, but somehow forgot about picture. Or I just was thinking about rifles in movie too much. |
◊ 2011-08-24 21:13 |
Did you find that rifle? I'm still wonder what was it. |
◊ 2011-08-24 21:20 |
Well, so far I think that it was some customization of regular .50 cal rifle, say McMillan. Or some RAI stuff. Or even non-firing prop. They were ahaed of times with that targeting system, BTW. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfRWsd2czdU |

My guess is a LAR Grizzly Big Boar with a lot of plastic cladding to cover it up: http://www.precisionweapons.com/CartGenie/prod-417.htm |
◊ 2011-08-25 08:49 |
Oh yes, I forgot about Grizzly. Yep, this single-shot shorty looks suitable. I think that if this movie was shot nowadays, he would use CheyTac M200.) While I'm probably in the minority, I would choose NTW-20. I think that you have no need to be extremely precise with actual true HEI rounds.) |
