 The vessel used for the "Radio Rock" ship was the Panamanian-flagged vessel, MV Timor Challenger.

The vessel itself was originally a Dutch hospital ship built in 1964 under the name, MV De Hoop IV.

Since filming, the vessel has become a stand-by safety vessel.
