on the left, from bottom to top: Ford Cortina Dinky-toys GB Opel Rekord Coupé [C] Dinky-toys France VW 1600 TL Dinky-toys GB ?? red saloon car Dinky-toys GB Renault 16 , maybe from Joustra? 2 tin-toys Rollys-Royce Silver Cloud/Bentley S1/S2 ... probably japanese/chineese toys? On the left margin, one can guess: Dinky-toys GB vehicle from science-fiction TV series (don't remember which?) Porsche 901 Scalextric electric toy 1/32rd scale Aston-Martin , possibly another Scalextric model? On the right, various HO scale Märklin train models. |

You beat me to it, but.... - not the Mk1 Cortina (which had opening doors) but the UK Dinky Taunus 17M (never understood why this was a UK release insted of Dinky France), - red saloon is I think the Dinky Rolls Silver Shadow - sci-fi vehicle is the Dinky Spectrum Patrol Vehicle from Captain Scarlet. |

In the first thumb I can see two MGB roadsters, a Ford Anglia [106E] and, presumably for dsl, a Sunbeam Rapier (IIIA?) -- Last edit: 2011-10-10 15:01:33 |

Thanks, I'd already spotted it but always good to know there are other watchers on alert. Agree S3 or S3A. Also what's the blue nose coming in from the right - Oldsmobile Toronado??!? With fwd it might stand a chance on snow and ice ... |

Yes, quite a surprise to find a Toronado, here ![]() |

Are you sure? For me they are looking more like Spur Z, named "Mini club". |

Absolutely sure, HO Scale 1/86th compared to the 1/43rd cars on the left. At N scale (1/160th scale) they would be much smaller. There are 2 American Diesel locos, a Swedish brown loco and a Locotractor. |
