antp ◊ 2026-03-16 19:17	Allociné mentions 2017, probably because it is indeed the official theatrical release : https://www.allocine.fr/film/fichefilm_gen_cfilm=247411.html It was shown a first time in 2016, before the general release, giving the 2016 year of IMDb. It is just a matter of convention, which counts as the "movie year", and usually we take the same logic as IMDb for that. I suppose they mentioned 2017 in the movie itself because they planned to release it at that time, but if it was first shown in 2016 it seems logical to use that year, if we follow our "rule". -- Last edit: 2026-03-16 19:17:59
