The passing cars are mostly English Fords (or one Ford with several paint jobs) plus at least one Nash Rambler. They were probably chosen for their small size - to fit on the set, and to trick the eye into appearing farther away.

I like how there's only one view of the street so you can feel what it's like to look out only the window.

Thanks midnight but IMPDB has its own page since April 2013 ... with some extra :)

Wasn't there a picture of a race car in the opening montage?

A race car and several other shots on the wall: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3uo8sd_xBc
You could argue they are part of the movie as the camera lingers on them.

I don't care about adding pictures on the wall unless it relates directly to the story or it's very rare vehicle.

I should have looked first but I assumed there wasn't because no one had added the cars yet which is unusual with the popularity of the movie.

Feel free to add it yourself!

I'm working on two huge Youtube videos now, one of them for several years now. I just don't care about adding pictures on the wall in movies anymore or movies/shows/music videos with more than only a few vehicles.

How odd, I could've sworn this movie was on here. I can even recall looking it up and finding the entry after watching it in film class back in 2011. Mandela Effect I guess.

I thought the movie was here too.
@midnight it does relate to the story because they establish James Stewart as the photographer.

Same here. I was sure that movie is here, or I would upload it myself.

The racetrack is almost certainly Indianapolis based on the grandstands. The cars have probably been recolored. #23 looks like a Kurtis. #87 possibly a Kuzma? (#87 may be mirrored; most Indy cars of this era I'm seeing have exhausts on the right)

Third picture has a 1953 Plymouth and a 1940 Chevrolet.
