The most overrated edgelord tranquilized gorilla of our generation. Right up there with Trump, Musk and Putin on my most hated list. She wants to be the next hot thing in music, she doesn't even know who the Beatles are. I knew who the Beatles were when I first heard Yellow Submarine in kindergarten - when I was six! Almost twenty years ago! "I didn't grow up in the computer age," well I didn't watch cartoons as a kid because I was terrified of animation, does that mean I didn't grow up in the TV age? I have heard two snippets of her songs and (unfortunately) one song in full, and she literally sounds like every other generic electro whinebag on mainstream radio. How in the name of all music is this revolutionary? It's just a girl twenty years late to the emo party with a crooked lip mewing some vapid supposedly edgy and deep lyrics, trying to get attention while Hollywood keeps stuffing her silicon cleaves with money so this fast food dropout can moan the title song for the next multi-million dollar blockbuster. Bet she probably thought BMT 216A was "some kinda Ford or Ferrari" when recording No Time to Die. -- Clarkson rant ends here -- -- Last edit: 2024-08-13 16:41:51 |

Six? My first exposure was probably 3 or 4! But then again my dad was 8 when the Fab Four performed at the Budokan so their songs (as well as a whole load of fine western songs... and city pop) would've been something he'd be familiar and be playing on the stereo on occasion... We still have a CD of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band from who knows when at my house. |

I have no opinion on Miss E. (uncommon practise nowadays, I know, but seriously - just give it a try, everyone, it works fine!), yet I doubt if comparing her to genuinely malicous, immoral and deeply destructive people really does her justice... ![]() |

well, i'm the other way around.. i know Bond's car is a DB5 but had no idea the license plate was BMT 216A despite buying at least 2 of them.. As for music , i'm an old dinosaur who barely knows what the newest popstars look like and except for a very few , won't move from my old heavy metal / hard rock , no matter what people may say or think.. -- Last edit: 2024-08-13 17:38:25 |
