This looks like a 1954 Plymouth based on the side trim. |

As far as I can see,it is an ambulance conversion on a 1954 Plymouth Savoy 4 door sedan (P-25-2) base. In 1954 Plymouth had only two-door suburban wagons , so this is not a factory stock wagon but a locally produced body.In 1954 , the model designation script was placed just in front of the front door ,here it appears placed more forward and part of the side strip-on the front door -is missing ,probably as a result of the conversion. |

Belongs to the fleet of "Falcks Redningskorps". Falck either had their own coachbuilding facilities resp. they had a contract with at least two specialized coachbuilders. One of these coachbuilders was Binz (Germany), the other one supposedly built this ambulance body seen here - and I still don't know the name of this company. *seeking for additional info* ![]() |
