Ingo ◊ 2008-07-12 20:36	An armoured money-transporter. Which base? Fiat Ducato or Mercedes T1 ot T2, I'd guess. They have new style-plates, but I think, the cars are older, perhaps from the late 70ies (see the narrow tires). There the predecessor of the Mercedes T2, the Mercedes 207/Hanomag F20 was often used, too.
chris40 ◊ 2008-07-12 23:35	I think we can eliminate the Mercedes. If you look at the front wheel that's visible, it more closely resembles a small truck-type wheel with protruding studs (as fitted to the Ducato) than the car-type wheels fitted to the T1 and T2. The things have twin rear wheels, too, which makes me think Ducato.
Alexander ◊ 2008-07-13 12:31	I agree with Ingo that these vans look 70-ish. As we are in France and by the look of the axle and the mirrors I would suggest a UNIC 75 was used as the base vehicle. /vehicle_150851-Unic-OM-75-Fourgon.html
