1959+ Burlingham Seagull Lightweight. Quite likely to be on a Bedford SB chassis, but no evidence from this picture. -- Last edit: 2022-07-16 18:20:55 |

This body was only built on two chassis, the Bedford SB and the (Ford) Thames 570E, sometimes called the Trader. Try as I may, I cannot find comparative figures for the two, except to say that the Ford was generally less popular than the Bedford, having come later to the market. |

I have now found out the quantities of Lightweight coaches delivered by Burlingham during 1959. Commer Avenger IV. 17 Ford 570E 26 Bedford SB (all variants) 58 On probabilities, it’s a Bedford, I think that the Commers went to Southdown and looked different. However the Ford looked similar to the Bedford coachwork. -- Last edit: 2022-07-18 08:49:29 |

Lets say Bedford SB then to keep it out of unknowns. |
