Ok, the French Wikipedia entry suggests that it was mostly filmed in France: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jappeloup_(film)#Tournage But the number plates are surely props made with Gironde numbers because that's where the characters lived. |

Yes and No! Many cars came from Gironde (Bordeaux is closest big city from Bergerac). The GTI Golf wear a recent number "RF 33" and not a period one (must be Gx or Hx). But the change for black plate as I was told |
