GMK

GMK (GM Korea) KRWikipedia page

GM Korea replaced Shinjin. It sold a rebadged Opel Rekord and later became Saehan and then Daewoo in 1982, when it was acquired by the Daewoo Group.

After running into financial difficulties, it sold most of its assets in 2002 to General Motors.
In 2011, General Motors announced that GM Daewoo would be renamed GM Korea. Most of the remaining Daewoo vehicles were rebadged as Chevrolet, although the Damas/Labo microtrucks were sold without a brand name since 2011 (currently still listed as "Daewoo New Damas" here on the site).
