But I don't think it's the 3 litre model... It's a 1938-1939 Talbot Minor 13CV (2323 cc). Lago wasn't part of the name. Bumpers don't seem to be original. Nice to see that the modern indicators on the front fenders have been painted black. |

Contrary to their other models as from 1938, Talbot did not officially call this one by its fiscal power of 13 cv ,because they wanted to avoid the 13 figure for superstition reasons.It was called Talbot T4 Minor.As indicated , cylinder capacity was 2323 cc ( 86 X 100).For the same reason there has never been a 13th series Packard ! |

Pilou, shouldn't this also be a 'Talbot-Lago', or were there exceptions to the rule? I think you know the vehicle's history better than I do. |

The post ww II cars built under Anthony Lago were all called Talbot-Lago .Before wwII the name Lago was added to Talbot as from 1937 on the sporting versions Lago Special and Lago SS 4 litre with the hemisperical combustion chambers only.So this one is a Talbot |
