Explorer4X4 ◊ 2006-09-10 07:48	If I remember correctly, there was no change in 1998. There was a complete redesign in 1995, and a minor update in 2001, new generation in 2002 and a new generation in 2006.
cieraguy ◊ 2006-10-04 18:38	close but... redesigned, like you said Explorer4X4 in 1995, the rear (tail lights and tailgate) was restyled in 1998 and the whole truck, again like you said was redesigned in 2002 and 2006. For 2001 you're thinking of when the Explorer Sport separated itself from the 5-door and had it's own separate restyle which it held until it was discontinued after 2003.
