Somehow, I suspected you'd have the answer.

It's not a 4507. Look closely at the bus. It has the rounded corner side windows that GM began using in 1949. The TDH4507, which was produced from 1946 to 1948, had square side windows. My guess is that this is either a TDH5103 or a TDH4801.

O.K., let's see if we can straighten this one out (and I speak from experience on it!).

It's a 1958 GM TDH 4801 originally carrying fleet number 654 for the Metropolitan Coach Lines of Los Angeles which was subsequently renumbered 5184 for its transfer to the Los Angeles MTA and carries the livery of LAMTA in the shot.

The bus was finally sold to a collector in L.A. and renumbered 2094 for use in the film.

I was the broker that supplied the coach for the production and when the driver failed to arrive on time the morning of the shoot I moved it from the storage lot to the set and damaged the rear door in doing so (fortunately the studio carpenters made a pit stop repair and the scene went off perfectly).

BTW; the only real vehicles in the image are the bus, the Cord taxi and the Ford sedan - the rest is a painted backdrop of Manhattan's Broadway.
