I doubt this car is a Caprice/Impala, it looks like a coupe to me, perhaps a Chevrolet Camaro. |

The exploding car is a Chevrolet Malibu, I'm pretty sure. It looks like a late second generation Camaro steering wheel in the interior shot, though. |

That's exactly what I think. A Malibu and a Camaro interior. |

I have lighten it up a bit (I'n not an expert on American cars, but I still think it's a Caprice/Impala: ![]() |

Garco, I'm pretty sure these are two different cars. The exploding one is probably a Caprice/Impala, but as I and others have said, we think it's probably a Camaro. |

OK, but they want us to believe it's the same car. Which one should we list? |

That's up to you. If you want, you could just post the Caprice/Impala instead since we actually get to see the exterior of the car and we might be able to identify it better. |

Interior shot is a late 70's/early 80's camaro I think, exploding car looks to be a 4dr Pontiac LeMans. |

The car in the interior shot is either a Cavalier or Sunbird. If it's a Cavalier it's from 1982 to 1986, if it is a Sunbird, it could be anywhere between 1982 1989. Both of these cars over these years used these dashes. In the Sunbird it was used as a GT dash from 1988 to 1989, the base model and SE dashes were different. Previous years used the same dash on all trim levels. The mirror is also another indication. The steering wheel is throwing me a bit though, I don't recognize it as an OEM wheel for these cars. It also looks like the horn button is missing. -- Last edit: 2008-06-30 18:20:18 |
