They were sold here in the mid-2000s by a firm in Norfolk (4-Something, IIRC). There's a few out there, for example: Link to "www.ebay.co.uk" Link to "www.ebay.co.uk" |

That must have created some interesting licencing discussions with L-R's lawyers. Glass's lists PS-10 from April 2004 as Panel Van, Hard Top and Station wagon, all with 2.8 Turbodiesel, 123 bhp. Apparently each came as base, Plus (cloth upholstery and other unspecified gubbins), or Extra Plus (metallic paint, front electric windows, central locking, radio/CD unit) trims. No other info given such as end-dates etc, and no other types. Address listed as FourTec Ltd, Dereham, Norfolk. |

The PS-10 was based on the Santana Series IV, which in turn was Santana's own update for the Series III (i.e. not the same as the 90/110/Defender). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santana_Motor The PS-10 was launched in 2002 but didn't have any Land-Rover design elements later than the Series III. Perhaps the design rights for the Series III had expired by then. In any case, Santana sold the Series IV tooling to Morattab in Iran in the early 1990s, so they must have believed that they owned the rights to the Series IV and could do with it as they pleased. |
