This car looks American but combinations of details do not match any one American make. It is good that the movie includes a picture of the instruments but I have not found an American make with instruments like those. I suspect it is a big Praga from the mid 1930s. The details of the hood sides and radiator are the same as this small Praga - http://www.eurooldtimers.com/temp/stroj_zoom_18487.jpg |

Doubt Praga as has flap louvres. Looks a bit Russian to me, but flaps are a problem again. RHD so Czechoslovak or made for the market? Vintman |
