@dsl...in your info above, it is listed as being manufactured in 1965 - Does that mean it was converted to RHD then?? It is definitely a 1964 model... |

I'm happy to believe it's a 64 - the auction description has to be accurate for legal reasons, DVLA info is only advisory in status. I don't think 1965 would be listed as the date of a RHD conversion, but can believe it as the date of first UK registration. Maybe it gathered showroom dust for several months?? |

Ford had stopped using the Sunliner name by 64. Actually that would be 6391 cc or a 390 cid. The 428 was not available until 1966 and is 7014 cc. -- Last edit: 2016-01-08 04:01:56 |

We seem to now have 3 blue RHDs in UK sightings - /vehicle.php?id=70530 (AYP 2B which is still listed as a live plate, once owned by Mick Jagger and stated as CDN build in flickr link), and /vehicle_746523-Ford-Galaxie-500-76A-1964.html with unclear plate (but might be xxx 199D). |
