Not much of the car is visible. If its not identified within a month or two I will remove it. |

1938 Wolseley 18/85 series III as here /vehicle_86636-Wolseley-18-85-1947.html -- Last edit: 2007-02-14 14:10:23 |

Is Series III different from MkIII? If no, and if we have to list all the 18/85 as Series, shall the other Wolseley be listed with Series instead of Mk? Or does it depend on the models? |

'Series' was used by two internet sources for 1930-1940 models, 'Mark' appears to be mainly used for 1950 models onwards (BMC cars). I can change the few other listings? -- Last edit: 2007-02-14 14:32:48 |

We'll use the automatic "mk" field. I modified it to display "Mk" if it has an ADO-code, else "Series"... Edit : and I had to add a special case for the 'Oxford Taxi' that seems to use "Mk" -- Last edit: 2007-02-14 14:51:52 |

Sunbar: I am impressed that you were able to identify this partial pic. |

Not too impressed I think if you know how. I captured almost the same view of a car in Foyle's War two days ago and from the registration found the make and model. I then recognised the picture here. - Easy! -- Last edit: 2007-02-14 17:09:43 |
