TaleSpin is set in the late 30s. Baloo even talks about the time. He says that the great war ended 20 years ago. Assuming that he is talking about World War 1, this means the story is set in 1938. |

When he says the great war ended 20 years before the story is set and World War 1 was in 1918: 1918 + 20 years = 1938. ![]() |

There weren't any Chrysler Airfows around in 1918 if that is what that thing is supposed to represent. -- Last edit: 2015-11-10 19:06:30 |

Its set in the late 30s, so a Chrysler Airflow would be correct. |

Why do you think it is Ariflow? Characters said that it is such car? I can't see any similarity. ![]() |

Link doesn't work for me (redirects me to main YT page) Was it something related to my typo - "Ariflow"? ![]() |

It looked like a Chrysler PT Cruiser to me and the PT Cruiser is a modern interpretation of the Chrysler Airflow. The Airflow fits perfectly into the time, being one year old at the time set. I also see that they played with the car name, "Air"flow in a series about Airplanes. I see a 1937 Chrysler Airflow to be exact: /vehicle_802879-Chrysler-Airflow-1937.html -- Last edit: 2015-11-10 23:17:59 |

Real Airflows had different grilles and headlamps not placed in fenders - I mean both - streamlined and later more "conservative" version. |

Still doesn't work. Something from the darkest chapters of pop music history? |
