I don't think, that it's one of 22 officialy exported. More really, that it's private import. In 90's Russians bought a lot of cars in Socialist countries, which they can bought cheap. Also a lot of Ladas came back in Russia with old 80's and 70's European (etc) cars. All in All, Polonez is really rear in Russia. I have never seen one in my life.
Weasel1984 ◊ 2015-10-14 17:09	True, many "Polish" Volgas went back to Russia (or other SNG countries) in the early 90s, they were often repurchased by the returning soldiers. I saw once Polonez Caro with Russian plates in Russian TV. Perhaps another "Russian" Caro played background car in this series http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0154065/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_17 (in faked Warsaw location).

I try to find some Polonez's in Russia on Drive2.ru. Not very good, but I find only 2 cars: 1) 1986' 2) 1979' Came in Russia in SU-time. Another Polonez's were from Ukraine (Polonez & Polonez Caro).
