Total built: Approx 300 Range Rover Monteverdi, mainly sold to Middle East customers
- "Monteverdi Design" badge mounted on Range Rover scuttle, tailgate, and grille
- Door handles and locks from Austin Allegro
- Total sold UK: Approx 60 vehicles, available from late 1981
- First Range Rover Monteverdi prototype built August 1979
- Last Monteverdi built March 11th 1982
- Schuler Automatic FF also available
- Complete 2 door Range Rovers in white colour with A/C transported to Italy, to Monteverdi's converter in Italy; Carozzeria Fissore in Savigliano.

From here which has pictures showing the sloping rear edge to rear door, which was vertical when Land Rover developed their own conversion.

We own this Monteverdi Range Rover and it is awaiting a full nut and bolt rebuild. It was also a development vehicle used by Land Rover as a styling exercise.
