You too live in Colorado? ![]() 1947-55 GM Suburban, from the Chevrolet Advance-Design truck line or from the GMC New Design. The visible part of the hood side emblem says Chev... The one-piece door window makes it a 1947-50 model, and the 2-line hood side emblem indicates more precisely a 1949-50 model. A view of the rear doors could help to give it its Chevrolet internal code: 3106 if panel-type rear doors, 3116 if lift and tail gate. ⇒ 1949 Chevrolet Suburban -- Last edit: 2015-09-03 02:01:28 |

I have friends in Colorado, but I live in South Carolina...Why do you ask?? Logically, being a vehicle to carry passengers as opposed to cargo, it would have the panel-type doors making it a Model 3106.. -- Last edit: 2015-09-03 03:02:25 |

Just follow the link and look at the video, which I thought about when reading your idea about the steering wheel ![]() Pure guess, once more... It could be a 3116 too, as the rear part could be devoted to carrying the schoolbags. -- Last edit: 2015-09-03 15:51:29 |

No, that is not a guess, I have seen Suburbans used to carry children and all of them have had panel-type doors..... |
