Thanks afonso. My first idea was the good one: a Chevrolet Boca de Sapo (pt - toad mouth), which is the Brazilian nickname for the 1947-53 Chevrolet Advance-Design trucks (the 1954-55 models are called Boca de Bagre - pt - catfish mouth). The main pic shows a 1951+ vent window, and the 2nd thumb what seems to be a 1951-52 only hood side emblem. Medium-duty 1-ton 3800 or heavy-duty 1½-ton 4100 / 2-ton 6100? As the three of them share the same 137"/3.48 m wheel base, it's hard to say more, all the more as the visible wheel rim in the 2nd thumb is clearly a fancy model (wheel rims and front bumper are compelling clues to tell a light-/medium-duty model over a heavy-duty one). -- Last edit: 2015-08-27 23:50:01 |
