Didn't the K3500 have a solid front axle in which case we'd see a front differential? |

Maybe but it's a dually so it has to be a 3500 |

2wd GM's had independent front suspension like the one pictured, (not a solid axle). The 4x4 had a solid front drive axle with a differential (like the rear axle pictured). |
