I don't know what this vehicle is exactly but it looks to have a side valve V8 engine fitted with Ardun overhead valve heads. The grille looks to be made with pieces from a circa 1948 Mercury. Maybe the design was influenced by the British Allard. -- Last edit: 2015-04-11 10:44:15 |

I just wrote Ford because of the Ford logo on the side. I have no idea what it is either and the plate isn't visible. |

It looks like the racing special nicknamed ’Snøhvit’, built by Greger Strøm at the Fram Motor Company of Oslo, Norway, in 1948. The engine they used was a Ford V8. |

Are we gonna make it 1948 Fram Snøhvit or 1948 Strøm Snøhvit? |

So, 1948 Snøhvit Ford, do we all agree with this? |

Isn't Ford Snøhvit more appropriate? Referred to in your link as a Fordracer. -- Last edit: 2015-04-11 14:15:20 |

To me, it's just as, like, Lotus Ford. |

Except here Snøhvit isn't the make of a chassis but the nickname of the car So either Ford 'Snøhvit' or Custom Made Snøhvit Ford ... |

Or maybe Fram or Strøm? It is built by Greger Strøm at the Fram Motor Company of Oslo, Norway Ford is just the engine. The grill is a Mercury. |
