But I see it far too often here on Imcdb. That means I, or somebody else, have to delve into books and brouchures trying to understand what you mean. My conclusion is that this is very unlikely made 1969-71 and is also unlikely a 280 SL. The only thing, that I know (when seeing a car from a distance, like here), that could have pointed towards those years is amber rear indicators, which this doesn't have. That is most markets, apart from the U.S. Otherwise this has the earlier hub caps suggesting having been built previous to the launch of the 280 SL. Paint DB 180 (silver grey metallic) available during the whole W 113 production, as well as the earlier W 121 190 SL.
