@Baube. After further research (because I kept finding 1997 and older) I can safely say that rear bumper with the step started in 1994 not 1997. Went directly to Ford’s website and put in 1992: Link to "www.oemfordpartsdirect.com" Here is a 1994 showing the first year for the step bumper: Link to "www.oemfordpartsdirect.com" Going to default to 1995 until more evidence surfaces.
