Computer generated Ford hot rod. Probably a Model A with a 1932 grille. |

BVH 87A = 1954 FORD JAGO MODEL B, 5700cc. Jago was a 1970s onwards supplier of glassfibre bodies for turning Ford Populars etc into hotrods, Model Ts, Jeeps and whatever else - http://www.jagoownersclub.co.uk/ , Link to "www.rodsnsods.co.uk" . The Model B Roadster was one particular kit, apparently moulded off an original car and designed to fit Ford Popular and possibly Pilot - different sources say different things, but versatility was the name of the game. Only 5 made 1969-84 - can't trace info for BVH 87A, but these mongrels often changed plates/identities/spec as new owners rebuilt them so it may exist now with different registration/appearance - DVLA is blank. Googling "jago model b roadster" gives lots of pictures if anyone wants to follow the trails. So best guess a 1954 Pop with Jago body and big engine - what do we want as ID?? |
