I notice the car here has four louvres at the front of the hood whereas most De Dions of this era have three.

Hi Folks, agree on De Dion Bouton. From the simple unframed rad with five separator brackets, seven louvres on side and four on front of the bonnet, all suggests a cca 1902 De Dion Bouton Type O Rear Entrance Tonneau. Regards Vintman

Since we're in France it will be rather Tonneau avec l'entrée par l'arrière ;)
I wonder if these cars were known (when new) as De Dion-Bouten Type O etc. or rather as De Dion-Bouton Tonneau avec l'entrée par l'arrière [Type O]...
