There were most probably more motor home conversions of these vans on the road in UK than van versions. In fact it was quite unusual to see the plain van version in UK . Trades people did not like the big engine hump at back just where you wanted to throw your load in . So almost certainly this will be a van conversion by someone like Devon . Survival rate is also remarkable . -- Last edit: 2014-10-08 07:48:49 |

Oh yes, there are a lot of hardcore-VW Bulli-maniacs in the UK. These British freaks are mainly responsible for the incredible increased prices, s the Conintental aircooled freaks are pointing out. The last two weeks at our SCO-trip I saw indeed remarkable many T2, either RHD and EU- or US-spec LHD. You even can rent some: https://www.imageshack.us/i/idfrvpMjj They http://www.solwayvehicleenthusiastsclub.co.uk/ have at least three T2, too. https://www.facebook.com/DGWGO/posts/747234788682651 (they cutted off my Vectra, it stood 1 meter left ![]() -- Last edit: 2014-10-08 08:48:36 |
