It is a RL 4x4 as headlights in lowered position , ex RAF by the colour. |

Bedford C-type grille so later model RL. Possibly civilian RL 4x4 rather than RAF as gloss finish to paintwork. Army also did without the chrome but in RAF use probably less important for camouflage needs. http://ccmv.aecsouthall.co.uk/p311606506/h32dbc5cb#h2797081e edit: If its in the scrapyard its probably a wrecker or recovery vehicle so repainted and to some extent restored.
