But is it really a Estate version? The roof seems to be short, through the rear door window one can see the rear window. Late Singer Vogue sedans had the same rear door shape as the Estate models... |

The third side windows of the late Vogue sedans are sail-shaped, whereas here, the D-pillar reaches all the way to the end of the vehicle. |

For a UK car, this would be a Vogue S1 or S2 for duotone and no moulding trim around headlights, with S2 more likely as S1 estate was only made for 6 months. But it's an NZ car, and I don't know exactly what NZ did in terms of Singer models; they definitely did sell the Vogue as the Humber 90, but I can't find a reference to a confirm a Humber 90 Estate. Labelling as 1963 Humber 90 Estate for the moment, but more info needed from NZ to be sure. (The Humber Vogue permutation was an Aus-only rebadging, so not applicable here). |
