New windows indicate a 1957+ model. I don't know when import to the UK started, the three-wheeler wasn't introduced in Austria before 1959. Most Isettas had four wheels.

I thought the reason for the three-wheeler's popularity in the UK had to do with tax.

I suspect many of the people going from motorbikes and sidecars to three-wheelers in the 1940's and 1950's had never taken a test at all.
