Don't forget all '79s had square lights, including the custom. Also many 79's had black headlight bezels to. Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com" |

I'd agree on that. It definitely has a non-factory paint job. The Grille and headlight bezels have likely been painted too as not many 78-79's had black grilles from the factory. Can someone make out the fender tag? If it does say Custom, I'd say 1979 would be more accurate as it stands than the 1978 since the 1979 Custom had rectangular lights from the factory. |

I suppose that we can list this as 1979 Ford F-250 Custom based on your logic. It is F-250 due to 8-lug wheels based on galloper's thumbnails. |
