For what it's worth, I have a theory that the scene of the Jaguar crashing is lifted from another source, as it happens in a seemingly different location from the preceding chase, the film grain is different, etc. An excerpt I read in stuntman Mickey Gilbert's book years ago, leads me to believe that it's likely the 1978 made-for-TV movie Colorado C.I., as he mentions launching a red Jaguar off a cliff into the snow for that movie, but I can't confirm that, as the movie's impossible to find. -- Last edit: 2025-07-21 07:45:07
