May 79 onwards Sunseeker limited edition based on 1442cc GL with tints, sunroof, alloys, black bumpers and stripes as /vehicle_601248-Chrysler-Alpine-C6-1979.html ; available in Moss green, Ermine white or Seville (orange?). http://www.rootes-chrysler.co.uk/brochures/brochure-9574-b.html . Not sure how long they were current for, but that DVLA registration date suggests old showroom stock lingering well past change to Talbot in Jan 80, and the car has older Chrysler tail-lights, not Talbot style.

... and on another look it does not have tints. But it does have sunroof and black bumpers and the correct colour which was not AFAIK normal range option; plate info says GL (which is the correct base model). I'll keep it as Sunseeker, but there is a question mark now.

Saw a Vauxhall Adam today in Glasgow with rust starting already on the shiny trim strips on the top of the door metal at the bottom of the window.

@ingo: I am indeed.
@dsl: Since when does Vauxhall/Opel make quality cars?

Top Gear thinks it's named after Adam from the bible when actually it's named after the founder of Opel, Adam Opel. [:kiki] I suggest Vauxhall calls it the Wilson, accessory bloody volleyball (to be stuck onto the antenna) sold separately.
