The black over white left coupe in front of the Fiat is a late 1957 Mercury Monterey two-door hardtop Phaeton.These late 1957 models had the new quad headlights and the standing lights in the grille of the early 1957 cars were removed and replaced by two vertical bars , visible here inboard of the headlights. |

If you are talking about the lead car in the picture, the black over white car obviously has the two headlight system, not the 4 headlight system. The 4 headlight system was optional at extra cost on all models by March of 1957, but the 2 headlight system was still standard on everything but the Turnpike Cruiser where it was standard. The Montclair had chrome on the headlight pod under the light, where the Monterey had painted pods. |
