Got it - this probably is the pier at Gardie on the island of Papa Stour, which would have been a passenger ferry then (the rock stacks in background of main match the map. It travels to West Burrafirth pier on Shetland mainland - /vehicle_589849-Ford-Escort-Van-2001.html . I did a road-widening project survey at West Burrafirth, but never got the chance to get to Papa Stour; it is now a vehicle ferry since the road improvement. |
