OK you win ! I have this in my notes from the time as a Renault but the distinctive bonnet says Fiat 501 This is a Deraa street scene leading to El Aurens sodomy by the Turkish Bey. The elaborate set was constructed over the river Guadalquivir in a slum part of Sevilla. Built on a rubbish tip by the brave(well paid) construction crew, tales filtered back of the appalling stench and quite unmentionable contents of the tip ! The scene was shot in record time !!! This car also features in the hospital scene starring Howard Marion Crawford /images/053/050.jpg -- Last edit: 2007-08-17 18:34:23 |

Maybe the picture is distorted but this car looks quite different to the Fiat in the other pic. |
