This Rover presents some continuity issues. The show takes place when it was filmed (2012). Wes said he had this car from back when he was a lawyer before he joined the LAPD. It takes about 6 months to graduate from the police academy, plus a year as a probationary officer, plus an undisclosed amount of time in uniform before he was promoted to detective (usually a couple of years). Then he was with missing persons for a couple of years, before being in robbery/homicide for 1-2 years. |
