dsl ◊ 2012-05-24 05:27	According to Glass's, 420 Tourer GSi was introduced June 94. L248 TDU does not show on DVLA but confirmed on other sites as identified. L250 TDU is on DVLA (a green Sterling 2.7) with Date of First Registration as 20 01 1994. Suggests this Tourer was pre-production by several months. -- Last edit: 2012-05-24 05:43:16

Sunbar ◊ 2012-05-24 16:36	I suspect it was late due to Rover's rather poor planning and development timings. I know the 'Tomcat' introduction was delayed quite a number of times. So the Tourer was also put back, as the same team was responsible and it probably scheduled to be released earlier than it eventually was.
dsl ◊ 2012-05-24 17:01	Tourer with slight changes remained available to April 99, so perhaps intended to bridge into HHR era instead of developing an HHR estate. Ditto for Tomcat coupe.
