The Wolseley link is plausible as a predecessor of what became Isuzu signed licencing agreements with Wolseley in 1918, which in 1922 led to assembly of the A9 car in their brand new Fukagawa factory. Can't tell you much more except that the agreements were dissolved in 1927 and the Wolseley was renamed Sumida in 1928. |

I don't think you would be able to see the headlights of the Wolseley from this angle though. |

^Gamer, I tend to disagree. From almost directly overhead I believe the Wolseley's headlights would be just as seen in the movie. |
