I don't think so. At first it looks similar to the second generation Chevrolet LUV, but it was made 1980-1988, and the movie is from 1979. Its not a Toyota either Link to "bringatrailer.com" I'm thinking some version of a Datsun 720  https://www.msu.edu/~steine13/dat01.jpg or even a Mitsubishi |

It may be a Plymouth Arrow/Dodge D-50, as they started selling here in 1979, and the door looks a little bit similar to that, to me Link to "www.myrideisme.com" |

Every example you come up with has a straight front lip of the hood. The truck in the capture dips in the middle like the LUV. You also keep posting trucks that have the completely wrong style or placement of sidemarker lamp -- Last edit: 2012-04-24 19:41:27 |
